Carolina Forest is excited to welcome James Fritz as the new Head Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach. Coach Fritz brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success at both the collegiate and high school levels.
Over his distinguished career, Coach Fritz has launched and rebuilt collegiate lacrosse programs, including Pfeiffer University and Queens University, where he holds the all-time wins record at both institutions. He has earned multiple Coach of the Year honors, led teams to conference championships and NCAA playoff appearances, and developed numerous All-Americans, conference players of the year, and professional athletes. In recognition of his impact on the sport, he has been inducted into both the Pfeiffer Athletics Hall of Fame and the Montclair State Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
Reflecting on his new role, Coach Fritz shared, “I am thankful for this opportunity. After retiring from college coaching, I realized how much I missed working with players and helping them reach their goals. I started my coaching journey at the high school level, and I’m excited to be coaching here again. I look forward to building on what the program has already accomplished.”
Carolina Forest is thrilled to welcome Coach Fritz and looks forward to the continued growth and success of the boys lacrosse program under his leadership.
We would like to invite those interested in boys lacrosse to meet Coach Fritz on Tuesday September 9th at 6pm in the CFHS Cafeteria to go over the upcoming season and workouts.
