The girls' swim team opened the 2024 season with a 2nd place finish at the Ripley's Invitational. With some of the top schools from the lower state in attendance, the girls showed they were ready to compete. The 200 medley relay team of Chandra Robideaux, Gabi Suarez, Kayleigh Hubbard, and Dominique Ulmer opened the meet with a 2nd place finish, a mere half second behind Summerville's relay team. The 200 free relay team of Abigail Kowalczyk, Hailey Scaturro, Hubbard, and Robideaux finished in 3rd place, just missing a 2nd place finish by 0.01 seconds. The 400 free relay team of Kowalczyk, Scaturro, Suarez, and Ulmer would cap the day off with a 2nd place finish behind the relay team for Ashley Ridge. All three relay teams earned state consideration times, and will look to build toward automatic times from there.

In individual event action, Ulmer turned in a 2nd place finish in the 200 free and a 3rd place finish in the 500 free, with both times coming in as state consideration times. Suarez also had a double podium day with a 3rd place finish in the 200 IM and a 2nd place finish in the 100 breaststroke. Both times for Saurez were also state consideration times, and her breaststroke time was a PR. Hubbard earned a 3rd place medal with a PR and state consideration time finish in the 100 fly. Hubbard would also finish the 100 free with a state consideration time (5th place finish). Robideaux had arguably the biggest day for the Lady Panthers with a 3rd place finish in the 50 free (state consideration time), and a 1st place finish in the 100 back. Robideaux's time in the 100 back was a state automatic qualifying time, guaranteeing her a spot in the state championship meet. Also earning state consideration times were Kowalczyk (50 free and 100 free), Gwen Fougere (100 back and 100 breaststroke), and Scaturro (50 free).

The Lady Panthers will return to the pool on Saturday when they host the Panther Invitational at Pepper Geddings.
