The CFHS girls golf competed in the 5A lower state championship at Wedgefield CC in Georgetown SC. The girls had a great start to the first 9 firing a 158 on a windy tricky golf course. We were within striking distance of first place Lexington High school. The CF girls shot a season best 151 on the back which wasn’t good enough to catch Lexington. Still a great Lower State performance. I feel this team has a change to do special things for the state next week. Claudia Mediate and Minea Kosonen finished 2nd place overall individual
