The 5A Region VI swim championships were held Saturday, October 4th. The girls' team and the boys' team both finished in 3rd place. Dominique Ulmer finished as Region Champion in the 200 Free. Other swimmers who finished on the podium include Gabi Suarez (3rd place 100 Breaststroke), Macie Mosley (3rd place 100 Free), Ulmer (3rd place 500 Free), Youssef Zaki (2nd place 50 Free, 3rd place 100 Free), and Kyran Vitharana (3rd place 50 Free).
The boys 200 Free relay team of Zaki, Vitharana, Ryan Markham, and Micah Riedel finished in 3rd place, and the girls 400 Free relay team of Suarez, Ulmer, Hailey Scaturro, and Kayleigh Hubbard finished in 2nd place.
