Strong Start for CFHS Girls Golf at Challenging Blue Jacket Invitational
The CFHS Lady Panthers golf team kicked off their season with an impressive performance at the Blue Jacket Invitational, held at the notoriously tough Diamondback Golf Course. Known as one of the most difficult courses the team faces each year, conditions were even more challenging this time due to deep rough throughout the course.
Despite the obstacles, the Lady Panthers rose to the occasion. Head Coach Willm praised the team's effort, saying, “Our girls had a good showing and shot our best score in the three years that I have coached.”
Their hard work paid off, earning them a strong 2nd place finish out of 14 competing teams. Coach Willm added, “I feel this is the best start we've had in my time here.”
With momentum on their side, the Lady Panthers are looking ahead to a promising season.
